Finland - Israel Technology Program (FIT)
for Joint R&D Projects
Announcing the next Calls for Proposals -FIT5
The governments of Finland and Israel launched a joint program for applicative R&D, The program is implemented by Tekes - the National Technology Agency in Finland, and MATIMOP, on behalf of the Office of the Chief Scientist in Israel and in cooperation with EUREKA the European program for industrial R&D.
Companies and organizations participating in Joint R&D projects within this framework are eligible to make competitive proposals for R&D grants to the national funding authorities in Finland (Tekes) and Israel (Office of the Chief Scientist). Both governments ear-marked a budget of Euro 10M for R&D grants within this framework for 2008.
The Program is managed by a joint committee that will soon publish the application forms.
