Introduction

The Program for French-Israeli Technological Cooperation mission is to foster collaborative R&D links between French and Israeli organizations which intend to jointly develop and commercialize new, innovative, market driven product, application or service.

The Program’s scope covers civilian, paramilitary and dual technologies.

The Program offers the participants of French Israeli projects accessibility to public finance in the form of loans for up to 50% of their respective R&D expenses by The Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) and by OSEO-Anvar ( OCS French parallel) or SFE (Eureka France), in accordance with the prevailing rules and regulations of each respective agency.

The Program employs two Managers: Aaron Stern at Matimop and Didier Chaton at Anvar. They are the points of contact to the Program in Israel and in France. 

The Program Managers follow together each project proposal throughout the entire process offering i.e. information, guidance, advise, liaison to national and/or international programs for technological cooperation such as Eureka , FP6, IRC, help in a partner search,  matching with target partners, assistance in dealing with the respective public support agencies (OCS, OSEO-ANVAR, SFE) and other care taking services as needed.

It takes normally 12-15 weeks from submission of a Project Proposal to the Program to decision on public finance for participants which have applied to it.

The Program for French-Israel Technological Cooperation applies the Eureka procedures. 

Eureka is a European framework of 34 member states, including Israel, which fosters bi/multi-lateral projects of industrial innovation. Eureka grants the “Eureka Label” mark of excellence and offers each participant, in the same way as the Program does, accessibility to public finance to by its respective National Public Agency.
