International R&D Programs
The government of Israel has signed
a number of bilateral R&D cooperation agreements with foreign governments
and the European Union in order to encourage contacts between Israel and
overseas companies to facilitate joint ventures in R&D, manufacturing
and marketing.
MATIMOP implements these agreements on behalf of the
Office of the Chief Scientist
(OCS) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
As such, MATIMOP serves as a contact point for various agreements, including
the MOU with Sweden, Germany, France and the European programs - Eureka and
IRC .
