Matimop is
pleased to invite you to take part in the ‘WATEC mission
Israel- the Netherlands 2007 Technology Matchmaking
Event ‘ October 29 - November 1, 2007 in Tel
Aviv.
The
Netherlands
The Netherlands is world renowned for its constant struggle with
water related challenges and water management and treatment
innovation and R&D.
The
Netherlands, just like Israel but in a different vain, has had
to deal with unique problems in this field due to its land
reclaim and sea and river protection projects. The Dutch are
constantly dealing with all aspects of water management and
treatment, and have developed extensive and innovative solutions
in this regard.
Therefore, the Netherlands could be a perfect partner for an
Israeli company conducting technological research and
development in this field and the potential for synergy with the
Netherlands could be substantial, not to mention the potential
growth in market exposure.
Target group
This mission is directed at Executive management, Directors of
business development and CTO's of Israeli water equipment
manufactures, water
delivery companies as well as
Infrastructure, engineering and
advisory companies. In view of the fact that we believe that
Israeli research centers should be included in the portfolio of
potentially interesting counterparts the mission should
also be of interest to those involved in applied research and
academic researches and scientists.
Organization
Matimop in
Israel is coordinating this event together with SenterNovem, its
counterpart in the Netherlands, The Embassy of Israel, NWP and
the Netherlands-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and with the Royal
Dutch Embassy.
This mission
is supported and co-organized by the Eureka network. Eureka is a
European initiative with 37 member countries to promote market
oriented R&D. Both Israel and the Netherlands are a member of
Eureka.
Procedure
Participants
are asked to fill in and submit a company profile including a
request for meetings with participants from the Netherlands. In
this company profile participants can describe what kind of
technology or expertise they have and what kind of partners they
are looking for. Each Israeli participant may request as many
meetings as he/she wishes but the allocation of meetings by the
organization will be made on a “first submit first serve” basis
subject to the allocated time constraints and the wishes of the
Dutch counterparts. The list of participants from the
Netherlands and their respective company profiles appears on
Matimop’s website at [URL]. The organization will inform the
applicants which meeting requests have been approved and the
exact date and time of such meetings.
